Product Overview

IHI’s condensate management suite combines a centralized Condensate Drain Control Panel with Zero-Loss Electric Condensate Drains. The panel provides alarms, timed bypass control, and per-stage test buttons; the zero-loss drains discharge only when water level is detected, eliminating compressed-air wastage. Deployed together, they deliver reliable, low-maintenance condensate removal for multi-stage compressors.

  • Power & Enclosure: 110–230 V, 50/60 Hz, 1-phase; IP45, 1.3 mm sheet steel, RAL 7032 epoxy power coating

  • Panel: 600 × 400 × 200 mm; single-door wall-mount; bottom cable entry; bypass control 1 per compressor stage

  • Zero-Loss Drains: SS304 vessel; 0–16 barg; 1–60 °C; installed at each compressor cooler stage

Operation

The panel supervises stage drains. On fault it executes a safe timed bypass cycle, guaranteeing removal while signalling alarms to operators. Manual test lets maintenance verify operation without interrupting production.

  • Continuously monitors each condensate drain and triggers an alarm on any malfunction.

  • On alarm, automatically starts a cyclic timer that opens and closes the bypass valve according to a user-defined duty cycle.

  • Lets operators set the valve open duration to ensure complete condensate discharge.

  • Supports solenoid, motorised, or pneumatic bypass valves, powered from the control panel.

  • Provides dedicated test buttons for each bypass solenoid to verify operation without interrupting production.
